SEIU Local 2015 members did the work in November, driving voters to the ballot box and we won the ULA Initiative—bringing long needed investment in affordable housing. It’s only the beginning. We know that we need to keep up our efforts to ensure implementation of this new measure for the City of Los Angeles.
Voters made it clear: We don’t need corporate interest leading our city, we want real representation, and we demand housing and homelessness solutions for our communities!
We must keep up the pressure and let all electeds, old and new, know that it’s a NEW DAY IN LA! We know tenants have power, and we’re ready to fight for our homes.
