Tulare County IHSS providers begin their fight for a new contract

Tulare County: Union members in Tulare County had their first Board of Supervisors action this year, on March 12^th! Workers gathered before the Tulare County Board of Supervisors to rally and demand better pay, better treatment for caregivers across the county. They heard from IHSS providers like Thomas Magana and Maria Paredez who shared their stories. After all, if caregivers are the ones taking care of people, they should be able to make enough to make ends meet. Tulare County caregivers are tired of making poverty wages, and they are speaking up and speaking out, folks! Stay tuned for more action dates.
