SEIU 2015 member leaders, staff, and officers are stepping up to the plate to empower Michigan home care workers along their path to winning their union.
- In March, San Francisco home care worker, Boxinett King, addressed Michigian home care workers at their campaign launch.
- In May, we started sending members, staff, and officers to help organize and build power among Michigan home care workers.
- In June, dozens of SEIU 2015 members leaders and staff convened in Detroit on Juneteenth for a Michigan Home Care Workers United action.
- Currently, members of our 2015 family continue to travel to Michigan to grow leadership and organizing skills and contribute to improving access to long-term care across Michigan!
