• Our community’s IHSS workers provide a vast array of services, including household work, personal care services, and paramedical services.
• IHSS workers often serve as first responders during medical, community, and climate-related emergencies for the people they work for.
• IHSS workers are only becoming more essential as San Joaquin’s population of older adults continues to skyrocket.
• Our community must stay united as we work to ensure everyone across San Joaquin can access essential, long-term care services regardless of race, gender, sexuality, zip code, disability or immigration status.
