As people opposed to recent anti-immigration and other policies coming from President Trump prepare to take part in a series of protests across the country on Monday, local activists will be joining the effort in Redding.
An email being circulated on Thursday to people in the community announced there would be a protest taking place at noon on Monday, Feb. 17 in front of Redding City Hall.
“Just say no to fascism Shasta County,” read a flier contained in the email and received by the Record Searchlight. “50 states / 50 protests / 1 day.”
