Join the Providence Pickets!

Sisters and Brothers,

Today, 500 workers up and down the state are joining pickets and actions on Providence. It’s a day to stand strong and stand together.

We’re not doing this because we want to, or because someone at the Union told us to.

WE work at Providence facilities day in and day out, and WE are the Union.

We’re picketing today to demand faster negotiations that get us to the outcomes we need to end staffing crises at our facilities and ensure the dignity and respect we deserve.

Management is responding to our concerns by throwing barbecues rather than setting another negotiation date. Providence should instead focus that same urgency in getting back to the table with proposals that speak to the seriousness and urgency of the crisis we are facing. What they should be doing is coming back to the table with proposals that get us to the improvements we need now for our co-workers and our patients. Here are the actions happening today. Join us. When we fight, we win!
