What is WQIP?
WQIP offers state funding incentives to Skilled Nursing Facilities that meet staffing standards and improve the quality of care for residents. These standards encourage our employers to maintain safe staffing levels in our facilities.
WQIP will provide directed payments to qualifying facilities through the managed care delivery system to replace the former fee-for-service Quality Accountability Supplemental Payment (QASP) Program.
