SEIU 2015 Social Media Community Guidelines
Welcome to the SEIU 2015 Facebook page! This is a space for caregivers, union members, and supporters to engage in meaningful discussions about the issues that impact long-term care workers in California.
We welcome open conversations and diverse perspectives.
We also want to ensure that our page remains a respectful and constructive space. To keep discussions productive and safe for all, we ask that everyone follows these Community Guidelines:
Be Respectful
- We encourage healthy debate. Personal attacks, insults, or threats will not be tolerated.
- Disagreements should be expressed with civility.
No Hate Speech or Discrimination
- Any form of hate speech—including comments that attack or demean people based on race, ethnicity, nationality, immigration status, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or religion—will be removed.
No Misinformation or Spam
- False or misleading claims that could spread misinformation, especially about union activities, workers’ rights, or immigration, may be removed.
- Off-topic comments, repetitive spam, or promotional content unrelated to SEIU 2015’s mission are not allowed.
Stay on Topic
- Please keep comments relevant to the original post. If a discussion strays too far from the topic, we may limit further replies.
Moderation and Enforcement
- Comments that violate these guidelines may be hidden.
- If a comment is hidden, the user is not notified, and they can still engage with other posts.
- Repeated violations will be addressed as necessary, but each violation is reviewed independently.
By participating on this page, you agree to these guidelines. SEIU 2015 reserves the right to moderate this space to ensure it remains welcoming and respectful for all.
